Role Description
- The Chief Security Office (CSO) is responsible for protecting Deutsche Bank’s physical and information security landscape. Within CSO, the Information Security/Production Services (ISPS) division leads the Segregation of Duties Program, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and security integrity.
- We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Information Security Specialist to join our team, focusing on the area of Segregation of Duties (SoD) Governance. In this role, you will be a critical member of our Information Security team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust SoD controls across our organization.
- You will play a pivotal role in minimizing operational risk, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, and safeguarding the integrity of our systems and data. You will collaborate closely with various business units, IT teams, and audit functions to ensure effective SoD management throughout the enterprise.

Your key responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously improve the organization's SoD framework, policies, and guidelines, aligning with industry best practices (e.g., NIST, ITIL) and regulatory requirements (e.g., MAS, BaFin).
- Act as a subject matter expert on SoD for internal stakeholders, providing guidance and support on SoD best practices during system implementations, access reviews, and process changes.
- Develop and deliver SoD awareness training programs to employees at all levels, fostering a strong security culture.
- Prepare regular reports on SoD status, risks, and remediation efforts for management, audit committees, and regulatory bodies.
- Support internal and external audit activities related to SoD, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Monitor the implementation of remediation actions and track their effectiveness.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant information security policies, standards, and regulatory requirements pertaining to SoD.
Your skills and experience
- Experience in an Information Security, Identity & Access Management, or IT Operations role with a strong focus on Segregation of Duties.
- Understanding of SoD principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST) and control objectives.
- Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, banking) and familiarity with relevant regulations (e.g., BaFin, GDPR, MAS) is highly preferred.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks effectively.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
- Business fluent in English
