Role Description

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cloud-based solutions and automation strategies. You will leverage your deep technical skills in core programming languages and automation tools to build and maintain robust infrastructure-as-code environments. Your role will involve working with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, utilizing CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, and managing development platforms. You will contribute to application development on multi-platform architectures, with a strong focus on the Google Cloud Platform, ensuring efficient and scalable software delivery.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code principles with Terraform.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab, and Ansible.
• Work with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration for application deployment and management.
• Support application development on multi-platform architectures, particularly on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Utilize and manage development platforms such as BitBucket, Artifactory, Confluence, and Jira to support the software development lifecycle.
• Apply strong experience in software development processes, models, and methodologies to deliver robust solutions.

Your skills and experience

Experience

• Deep technical skills in at least one core language environment (e.g., Java, Javascript (NodeJS/TypeScript), Python, Shell scripting).
• Experience in automation tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Ansible, or Urban Code Deploy (UCD).
• Experience with development platforms such as BitBucket, Artifactory, Confluence, and Jira.
• Experience with Docker containerization and clustering (Kubernetes, Docker, Dockerfiles, Helm) on cloud platforms (GCP/Azure/AWS).
• Strong experience in software development processes, models, lifecycles, and methodologies, with a focus on application development and multi-platform architectures.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and GitHub Actions.

Education / Certification

• A Bachelor of Science or Master degree with a major in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.

Soft Skills Communication

• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
