Job Title: Senior QA Engineer, VP

Role Description

As a QA & Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for planning and executing comprehensive test activities for the Investment Proposition, including app testing. This involves test analysis, test case creation, test execution, defect analysis, and organizing full test cycles. You will also plan and implement full test automation activities, creating, maintaining, and executing automated unit, integration, and UI tests. This role requires developing and extending in-house Test Automation tools and test frameworks, and working collaboratively with Dev/QA engineers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters within Feature teams.

Your key responsibilities

• Plan and execute full set of test activities, specifically app testing with regard to the Investment Proposition: Test Analysis, Test case creation, Test execution, Defect Analysis as well as organizing full test cycles.
• Plan and implement the full set of test automation activities (unit, integration and UI tests): create, maintain and execute automated tests.
• Develop and extend in-house Test Automation tools and test frameworks.
• Work collaboratively with Dev/QA engineers within the Feature teams (Scrum team), Product Owner and Scrum Master to build and maintain features.
• Continuously coach junior Requirements Engineers and QA-Specialists.

Your skills and experience

• Solid experience in requirements engineering for large-scale IT solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of test case definition and documentation, and usage of Test Mgmt. software like HP ALM.
• Strong hands-on experience in Web Application testing using Selenium with Java.
• Advanced analytical and communication skills, strong independence and initiative, ability to work in agile delivery teams.
• A passion for constantly learning in a constantly evolving web environment.

Education / Certification

• A degree in computer science or a similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.

Soft Skills

• Ability to communicate effectively (oral & written)
• Focused on providing timely and quality output
• Ability to work in agile delivery teams.
• Passion for constantly learning in a constantly evolving web environment.

Language Skills

• Fluent in spoken and written English.
