Role Description

  • You will lead the communication as Senior Business Analyst with Business Owners and development team.
  • You will help drive out requirements, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure that items are specified and understood correctly.
  • You will support your team colleagues in assisting with completion of team tasks and ensuring that delivered software is of the highest quality.

Your key responsibilities

  • Contribute to the High-level architecture and low-level implementation of business-critical solutions by means of providing required analysis for the risk control tool buildouts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with business leads / stakeholders to ensure alignment with client needs, business requirements and project delivery plans.
  • Work closely with technology stakeholders from CB Tech systems including BA/FA, Team leads, architects, product teams and project managers to produce business and functional requirements, document data flows and data models, UI mock-ups and use cases for the development team.
  • Work closely with tech leads to establish and operate the governance framework for the project
  • Design and assist in building out risk mitigation tools proactive data quality checks, data accuracy and timely delivery
  • Ensure all necessary project artefacts are produced, reviewed, and signed off with all stakeholders
  • Responsible for governance of service delivery including SLA (service level agreement) adherence and issues / incidents.
  • Reviews performance against SLAs/ KPIs (key performance indicators) and directs appropriate interventions to address and meet changing client needs and business priorities.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders within Corporate Bank Securities Services organization to enhance the engagement model between Ref Data and LOB-aligned / functional teams.
  • Follow Agile SDLC best practices & participate in Agile ceremonies

Your skills and experience

  • 10+ years of experience as a BA/FA
  • In-depth understanding of Clearing, Settlements & Corporate Actions processing and associated systems and flow
  • The candidate should understand evolving business and technology landscape of processes, data and technologies used.
  • Working knowledge of various SWIFT messages associated to the settlements / corporate actions flows used by banks in various markets.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Custody applications from both functional and technical perspectives is essential. Hands-on knowledge of SWIFT workflows is preferable.
  • Must have experience interfacing with IT teams with limited exposure to the business. This is primarily an IT role.
  • Must demonstrate ability to do Business Analysis in consultation with the business and product management and produce BRDs and more importantly functional/technical specifications (SRS, FRDs) – this is an essential requirement in this position.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL and logical data modelling is required. Ideal candidate would be a technically aligned Business / Functional Analyst.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, networking and influencing skills; excellent consumer relationship management skill with service-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work across multiple global business groups and domains. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment; possess excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Office products
  • Extensive Agile experience is a big plus
