Location: Mumbai, India

Your key responsibilities

  • Review and validation of client transactions that have been halted by core banking system for manual validation
  • Assess the transaction and challenge the requestor for the availability of funds or credit approval where appropriate
  • Determine and prevent client transactions that would result in collateral shortfall or limit excess post transaction unless prior approval is in place
  • Handle time sensitive transactions in a timely manner (across APAC and Middle East timezone) and escalate issues where appropriate .Ability to understand issues and appropriately escalate to Management in a timely fashion

Your skills and experience

  • Educational qualification: Educational qualification: Masters in Finance or equivalent Master’s degree
  • Prior work experience of at least 3 years in financial services, preferably in Wealth Management business
  • Possesses good analytical skills and an independent decision-maker mindset with ability to support or defend conclusions
  • Demonstrate familiarity with Wealth Management product & services particularly with Lombard Lending
  • Demonstrate an understanding of underlying credit risks associated with client transactions on the collateral used for Lombard Lending
  • Working experience from the Private Banking or Wealth Management business is an added advantage
  • Strong team player, also able to meet tight deadlines and multi-task
  • Self-motivated and goal orientated and a ‘can do’ personality, who is able to work in a high paced environment
  • Willing to learn and take on additional scope of work with training
  • Good communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skill
  • Meticulous, methodical and concise, with a strong attention to detail
  • Relevant investment experience, coupled with a good sense of integrity
