Role Description

The operation Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end operational management of database encryption services across UAT and Production environments. The role involves over seeing encryption deployments, managing production incidents and escalations, coordinating upgrades and releases with CSO & CSD production Service Teams. Ensuring stable, well-monitored encrypted platforms. The role also works closely with Product Owners and application teams to align encryption operations with program goals, while driving process improvements, automation and effective operational reporting.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage Database encryption and overseeing and directing encryption deployments
• Manage all production incidents, problems and escalations related to encrypted databases with CSO production services and Crypto Service Desk
• Liaising with our Crypto Service Desk to oversee the deployed environment (Production and UAT), including the scheduling and all upgrades and releases
• Program Reporting and management metrics and KPIs
• Working with the Product Owner to ensure alignment with program goals
• Customer Liaison and coordination with applications about encryption planning
• Process optimization and automation
• Ensuring adequate monitoring is in place
• Should have broader knowledge Crypto / Data Encryption at Rest
• Preferred working experience with KMS systems such as – OKV / CTM / Vormetric for 4-5 years

Your skills and experience

• Strong experience in database encryption operations or relevant CISO operations. Managing encryption or relevant CISO deployments across UAT / Prod environments.
• Proven ability to handle production incidents, problems and escalation in collaboration with various CISO support teams / Application teams.
• Hands-on experience coordinating release, upgrades, change activities for any CISO platform
• Understanding of Cryptography concepts, including operation control and consideration
• Skilled in program reporting, operational metrics, and KPI tracking for management and stakeholders
• Demonstrated focus on process, optimization, automation, operational efficiency
• Experience ensuring monitoring, alerting and stability controls are in place for encrypted environments.
