Job Description:

DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

You will be a part of the Chief Information Security Office (CISO) and the Chief Technology Office (CTO) within the Network Security team. As Network Security Lead Engineer, you would be driving the design, implementation, and management of enterprise network security solutions. This role requires deep expertise in DNS Security, networking, and automation, as well as hands-on experience in Cisco Umbrella, and SQL Server Management. The ideal candidate will also have a strong understanding of external regulatory compliance requirements and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and infrastructure teams globally.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, configure, and maintain Cisco Umbrella policies and security settings to provide robust DNS-layer security and threat intelligence.
  • Ensure compliance with external regulatory standards (e.g., DORA, GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001) through secure network architecture and controls.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies for network vulnerabilities.
  • Develop and maintain robust documentation on architecture, KOPs, and policy implementation
  • Act as the primary L3 engineer, handling incidents, and operational/ compliance of tooling

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience). Security, Network, or Cloud certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CCNA
  • 7+ years of experience in network security engineering, with a focus on DNS security.
  • Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, and network security technologies and protocols
  • Chronicle SOAR automation experience, SQL Server Management, and data analytics skills
  • Technical writing and key process documentation (LLD, KOP, Policy management, Functional Design documentation)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams. Ability to lead projects and drive initiatives independently.
