The Chief Financial Office (Finance) team is vital to the way we run Deutsche Bank Luxembourg working in partnership with colleagues across the world; our teams are focussed on financial reporting and performance management, regulatory reporting, and Tax.
We provide accurate and timely financial information. We also provide high-quality advice and analysis to our businesses and infrastructure functions, measuring and analysing performance and identifying areas to drive innovative change. The Finance Senior Analyst will ensure timely and accurate financial and regulatory reporting in line with regulatory and statutory requirements.
They will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and in collaboration with other Finance Managers and relevant stakeholders across several Deutsche Bank Locations to provide insightful advice to our Private Bank business and financial analysis of their performance.

Responsibilities:
Own and safeguard the quality of the Private Bank financials in the Luxembourg entity including review/ challenge of Flash/ Actuals/ Forecast including commentary & driver analysis.
Partner, particularly with the Private Bank lending business, to develop an understanding of key business developments and drivers of financial outcomes; a critical success factor will be the ability to build strong working relationships.
Support the annual Planning process, with focus on holistic performance of the Private Bank in Lux including P&L and Capital considerations (i.e. Shareholder Value Add).
Develop ad hoc financial/ quantitative analysis supporting performance management, strategic issue surfacing, and scenario modelling.
Ensure timely and accurate financial and regulatory reporting in line with applicable internal policies and external regulatory and statutory frameworks (across multiple accounting GAAPs).
Manage accounting and financial risk by implementing and continually improving key controls and providing advice and guidance to shape strategic initiatives and support the approval of new products / transactions in the entities & businesses within their remit.
Develop and drive the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and control framework for the Finance Reporting processes in the Private Bank, this will involve owning several projects both locally and cross-country at an EMEA level.
Support the Head of Group Financial Reporting and the CFO with analytical review of Monthly Financial performance for the Private Bank against internal targets both financial and regulatory capital.
Skills:
Highly numerate and analytical, with solid experience in revenue, balance sheet, and risk reporting within Financial Services, supported by strong accounting expertise (IFRS; Lux GAAP desirable) and qualifications in accounting or related fields.
Strategic thinker able to simplify complex or ambiguous situations, understand broader business issues, and provide sound, actionable recommendations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, influence senior stakeholders, and leverage wider team capabilities.
Proven problem‑solver with a strong sense of ownership, capable of prioritizing and delivering effective solutions to financial, risk, or modelling challenges, while leading process improvements across reporting and accounting systems.
Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders, demonstrating a cooperative yet assertive approach when engaging with partners.
