As part of Hybrid Cloud Organisation, we are maturing our a GCP based Landing Zone Platform and expending to be true hybrid, to support DB’s long term IT strategy. The Platform enables guard-railed access to native services, managed products, and SaaS offerings, industrialised for standard use cases.

You will be building and maintaining the cloud products available on our cloud platform, providing cloud products to Deutsche Bank. You will be evangelizing our products, seeding, and growing a self-sustaining community around them.

Your key responsibilities

  • Working with the customer to drive the design, build, and support of our products
  • Managing the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), evangelizing the product set, and being recognised by application teams as a valuable guide of cloud adoption
  • Being a part of a community, collaborating with practitioners from multiple disciplines, continually creating and shortening feedback loops throughout the software
  • Seeding and growing a self-sustaining community around the product set. Global meetups, and thriving inner-source movement, and community-developed solutions
  • Being a part of a cross-functional, self-managed team in a multi-team scrum environment

Your skills and experience

  • Confident working with several programming languages, tools and technologies, including Infrastructure as Code, public cloud providers, containerization with the ability to guide colleagues to the context where each is useful. Our tech stack involves GCP, Python & GoLang, Kubernetes, Github actions and Terraform
  • Knowledge using multi-tenanting, metrics, or logging at scale in a SaaS product
  • Good experience in scaling and securing applications in Container orchestration solutions such as kubernetes
  • Experience in working with Agile teams and strong communication and collaboration skills within the team and with customers
  • Good Understanding of testing methodologies and experience with testing frameworks (e.g., unit test, integration test, end to end test. etc)
