Details of the Division and Team:
Technology is the engine that drives our global business. Within our Technology, Data, and Innovation (TDI) division, we are building a world-class engineering organization focused on agility, modernization, and delivering pioneering work.
This role is part of the Global Emerging Markets (GEM) Technology team within our broader FIC (Fixed Income & Currencies) Technology group. Our team is responsible for developing and managing the systems that power our FX trading business across Asia's dynamic emerging markets. We are looking for a skilled Business Functional Analyst & Project Manager to drive the delivery of strategic technology solutions and enhance our trading capabilities.
As a key member of our team, you will act as the vital bridge between the FIC business—including Sales, Trading, and Operations—and our global technology teams. You will take ownership of strategic initiatives from our technology roadmap, with a primary focus on electronic trading, trade capture, and the end-to-end trade lifecycle for FX products.

Your key responsibilities:

Business & Functional Analysis:
Partner with Front Office stakeholders (traders, sales) to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for FX trading systems.
Translate complex business needs into clear, detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows (using tools like Confluence and Visio/draw.io).
Provide subject matter expertise to guide the design of strategic and scalable trading solutions across voice, electronic, and algorithmic platforms.

Project Management:
Take full ownership of projects from initial scoping and planning through to implementation, ensuring alignment with the target IT architecture.
Develop and manage project plans, track deliverables, mitigate risks, and provide transparent governance and status reporting to senior stakeholders.
Coordinate and lead meetings with all project participants, including business sponsors, development teams, QA, and external vendors.

Drive Quality & Delivery:
Collaborate closely with development and vendor teams to ensure technical solutions faithfully meet agreed-upon business requirements.
Define test strategies, create and review comprehensive test cases, and partner with the QA team to ensure the quality and integrity of all deliveries.
Ensure all project documentation and artifacts are meticulously maintained and archived in the designated repository.
Your skills and experience:
Must have experience in FX trading systems, with understanding of pricing, market data, order management (OMS), and trade execution workflows.
Experience with pre-trade flows, including RFQ/RFS, client-tiered pricing, and booking APIs.
Strong functional knowledge of the end-to-end trade lifecycle, from client interaction to back-end integration.
Hands-on proficiency with SQL for data analysis and investigation.
Experience working within an Agile framework, utilizing tools such as Jira for backlog management and Confluence for documentation.
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including version control (GIT), CI/CD concepts, and change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
Familiarity with FIX protocol.
Practical experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Shell) or data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
Exposure to trading infrastructure, including data center hosting, low-latency networking, and market data connectivity.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently interact with and influence senior business and technology stakeholders.
