Role Intro
The role sits within the Third Party Contracting (TPC) Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, which is part of Global Procurement. The TPC CoE is accountable for driving contracting excellence across the Bank through robust governance, continuous system, process & framework improvements and comprehensive training programs.
Lead the charge in driving excellence across all aspects of contracting and contract management at Deutsche Bank. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring a strategic mindset and a passion for operational excellence. As Head of the TPC Centre of Excellence Team, you will lead a team responsible for delivering Deutsche Bank's Third Party Contracting capability, ensuring optimal commercial and noncommercial outcomes, driving regulatory compliance and mitigating risk for the organization. You will foster a culture of continuous improvement and represent the team in key governance forums.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Third Party Contracting Centre of Excellence Team (TPC CoE).
- Oversee the optimization of contract templates and documentation management.
- Monitor the maintenance of robust third party contracting and contract management policies and procedures for Deutsche Bank.
- Ensure processes to drive high data quality within the dbContractsPro tool are regularly completed, review findings and support recommendations.
- Represent the TPC CoE in BAU governance forums, presenting key metrics and insights.
- Representing Deutsche Bank in meetings with regulators relating to the oversight of the contracting process and systems.
- Provide oversight for the continuous improvement of training materials and delivery of training.
Skills
- Proven leadership experience in a contract management or governance role.
- Deep understanding of contracting principles, contract lifecycle management, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with contract management software and tools (Sirion or similar market-leading contract lifecycle management (CLM) technology preferred).
- Knowledge of relevant contracting industry regulations and legal requirements.
- Strong data governance and management skills.
- Strategic planning and vision setting for CoE development.
- Expertise in change management and adoption strategies (preferably for CLM technology solutions).
