Our RMS FX desk is a leader in structuring and marketing Foreign Exchange, Cash, and Derivatives hedges to a diverse portfolio of European corporate clients. You'll work with multinational investment-grade and high-yield companies across various sectors, including healthcare, consumer goods, technology, media & telecom, industrials, infrastructure, and energy. While the primary focus is FX, this internship offers unique exposure to our Commodities and Rates desks across Europe, providing a holistic understanding of risk management across different asset classes.

We are specifically focused on helping clients manage FX risk associated with:

• Budget hedging
• Asset/Liability hedging
• Special situations impacting corporate FX exposure

Responsibilities

The candidate will have the possibility to assist the team in and be trained on the following activities:

• Analyze complex client risk exposures and contribute to the development of tailored risk management strategies.
• Assist in cultivating strong client relationships through continuous, idea-driven coverage and customized updates on market developments.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance and Capital Markets professionals to originate new risk management business, supporting clients' strategic and geographic expansion initiatives.
• Gain exposure to all aspects of the trade process, including documentation, onboarding, credit approval, derivatives pricing, execution and restructuring.
• Support the preparation of compelling client presentations, financial statement analysis, and term sheets.
• Work closely with our Rates and Commodities desks, broadening your understanding of integrated risk solutions.

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, with near completion of a Master's in Finance.
• A strong quantitative aptitude and keen interest in financial markets.
• Clear, accurate, and confident communicator comfortable in client-facing situations.
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is essential.
• Commercial acumen, self-motivated with a strong drive for new business opportunities.
• Prior Experience (Nice to have): Previous experience on a fixed income or macro products desk.
