Your key responsibilities:
We are seeking a Prospect Client Business Manager to drive and own overall prospect management activities for our PB division in Emerging Markets ensuring systematic identification, screening, qualification, tracking, and conversion of high-quality prospects. The role will support in defining and establishing and subsequently executing prospect management activities. The role will closely work with and support Regions, Markets, Relationship Managers (RMs) to operate a clear, structured process for managing the prospect pipeline.
The role will report into the Head of PB EM Strategy and Central Business Management and will work closely with the wider PB EM Strategy and Central Business Management team.
Drive and own overall prospect management process across Emerging Markets, ensuring consistent approach, definitions, and governance standards.
Conduct data mining across internal databases, external intelligence sources, referrals, events, and market signals to identify high‑potential prospects.
Build systematic market intelligence capabilities to capture trends, liquidity events, ecosystem opportunities, and emerging wealth indicators
Develop criteria and scoring models to qualify prospects based on financial capacity, strategic fit, jurisdiction, risk, and product needs.
Perform gap analyses to uncover untapped markets, segments, and niche client pools.
Establish a structured, transparent, and governance‑aligned prospect lifecycle, from screening to RM handover.
Work closely with Regions, Markets, Market Heads, Business Managers, and RMs to ensure consistent engagement and follow‑through.
Partner with coverage teams to prioritize high‑potential growth segments and develop targeted prospecting and segmentation strategies.
Maintain high‑quality data integrity in prospect systems
Consolidate and map out key clients and potential white‑space opportunities by region, segment, or product interest areas.
Build and own regional prospect pipeline reporting for senior management, including conversion metrics, aging analysis, outcomes, to enable accountability and continuous improvement.
Handle all client and prospect information with strict confidentiality, consistent with internal cross‑border and data governance expectations
Drive and define technology solutions to support the prospect journey and act as an internal champion for prospecting tools and digital platforms.
Your skills and experience:
8+ years of overall experience with 5+ years of experience in relevant Business Development, or prospect/lead management within Wealth Management, Private Banking or Financial Services.
Prior experience in prospect lifecycle and management.
At least 5 years of private bank product knowledge, business models and experience in regulatory requirements.
Track record of leading and delivering projects within a financial institution, coordinating effectively across multiple teams.
Strong presentation and communication combined with a structured, analytical, and process‑oriented approach.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with both senior internal and external stakeholders.
Commercial mindset with strong pipeline discipline and conversion focus.
Data-driven decision making and management reporting (MS-Office tools)
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
