Details of the Division and Team:

Trade Finance Operations team manages the end-to-end processing of international trade transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy in documentation. They handle instruments like letters of credit, guarantees, and invoices, mitigating risks for buyers and sellers. Key tasks include document checking, AML/sanction screening, and facilitating trade settlements

Your key responsibilities:

  • Handle the day to day processing of Collections, Letter of Credit as part of Trade Operation team, to meet agreed customer service level agreements and review outstanding transaction.
  • Manage and ensure compliance (KOP, Ops Manual and etc.) with internal policies and audit plus regulatory requirements.
  • Handle regulatory reporting such as Cash BOP, EALIS and other related reporting as required from time to time.
  • Support and achieve excellent partnership with relevant stakeholders and business.
  • Possess adequate understanding of Trade related rules and guidelines as commissioned by ICC (ICC/UCP,URC and etc).
  • Good understanding of legal and credit operational risks in handling of Trade product and services.

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Document Checking on documents presented under Letter of Credit and Trade Finance Operations
  • Must be equipped with UCP, ISBP, URR, Incoterms and relevant updates.
  • Good understanding of trade related products
  • Proficiency in UCP and URDG will be an advantage.
  • Bachelor Degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university (or equivalent) or equivalent work experience
  • Good communication skills (oral and written)
  • Good team player
