Job Title: Portfolio Manager – Private Cloud workstream lead for IB, RF and CFT, VP

Role Description

The role will be focused on the development and execution towards a private cloud target state across the IB, RF and CFT division. This will require you to work across application architects, development teams, platform engineering within both IB as well as GTI. The target state will require the development of a clear infrastructure decision matrix that will form the basis of the outlook for the division. You will be responsible for both the development and ongoing management of the target state, the roadmap to achieve that end state, the execution of the roadmap, the development of the business case as well as securing the funding necessary to successfully execute.

Your key responsibilities

The wider objectives of this private cloud ambition looks to

• Achieve a net save to the groups application and infrastructure RTB cost
• Achieve a greater alignment towards cloud hosting aligned to the TDI Cloud First Strategy
• Support the associated GTI Strategy to modernize TDI application infrastructure estate
• De-risk the infrastructure estate via its migration to modern, secure private cloud platforms
• Enable greater engineering experience through the removal of toil with both adoption of the platform and ongoing maintenance.
• The candidate will work across all levels of seniority within the organization including senior management within IB Tech, business stakeholders and GTI.
• A successful candidate will be required to understand technical considerations of private cloud adoption that face application teams and develop strategies to overcome, understand how applications utilize infrastructure solutions and how to simplify adoption through automation include taking advantage of vendor and AI solutions
• Manage a portfolio of change execution with clear dependencies, RAIDs and decisions
• Produce a consolidated management dashboard to ensure progress against key criteria’s like commercials, schedule, risks, issues and benefits
• Own the private cloud demand signals for the group working with GTI to ensure the dependencies can be met
• Overall accountable for the private cloud strategy, its multi-year roadmap, and the execution.

Your skills and experience

• Educated to Master’s degree level or CA or equivalent qualification/ relevant work experience. Post qualification experience of above ~ 14 years.
• Project Management experience is essential.
• Engineering experience is beneficial.
• Significant experience within a similar role would be beneficial.
• Effective team member able to work with virtual global teams in a strong matrix organization.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PPT, Word, SPO)
