DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology center in Central and Eastern Europe. Since its set-up in 2013, Bucharest Technology Centre (BEX) has constantly proven its capacity to deliver global technology products and services, playing a dynamic role in the Bank’s technology transformation.

Global Travel Operations, within Global Procurement, sets and oversees the framework for business travel, covering policy, processes, services, and suppliers to ensure transparent, efficient, and compliant travel across Deutsche Bank.

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Global Travel Technology, Vendor Governance and Travel Risk Management Lead to join our travel team who is responsible for managing the global travel technology portfolio as the business owner including vendor compliance and risk management. This role ensures all travel related technologies, vendors and third-party solutions meet Deutsche Bank’s regulatory, legal, security, and data privacy standards across all markets.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic technology leadership across all travel technology platforms, ensuring resilience, operational stability and 2nd level escalation support.
  • Serve as platform owner and Information Security Officer for assigned travel systems operated by Travel Agency partners, ensuring robust security controls, data protection compliance, and adherence to internal control frameworks.
  • Ensure that third-party contracts, vendor risk management activities and governance requirements are effectively aligned with vendor management/service owners and regulatory obligations throughout vendor lifecycle.
  • Act as program and platform manager for duty‑of‑care solution in collaboration with Corporate Security, driving integrated processes and global operational readiness

Skills

  • Proven experience (5+ years) in corporate travel management
  • Proficiency in travel technology platforms, duty of care platforms and travel booking systems.
  • Knowledge of travel industry regulations, legal and data privacy requirements (e.g., GDPR).
  • Experience in contract management and governance
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
