You will join the Commercial Banking Tribe Domain, the digital engine behind Deutsche Bank’s small and medium‑sized enterprise (SME) business in Germany, one of the bank’s strongest growth areas.

Our mission:
To transform the digital experience of ~800,000 clients across three major brands we build and scale the BizBanking platform, enabling modern digital sales journeys, intuitive self‑service capabilities, and highly automated banking processes.

As a Lead Business Functional Analyst (m/f/x) within the Services Tribe, you'll seize a pivotal opportunity to strategically shape the automation of our critical service processes. You will collaborate directly with the team defining the future business processes of the innovative BizBanking platform. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring technical requirements are meticulously defined, effectively communicated to our internal and cross-tribe development teams, thoroughly understood, and that the development of essential workflows and services for complex process automation seamlessly integrates, much like a perfectly assembled puzzle.

Your key responsibilities

  • Identifying the full range of business requirements and translating requirements into specific functional specifications for solution development and implementation

  • Analyzing business requirements and the associated impacts of the changes

  • Designing and assisting businesses in developing optimal target state business processes

  • Creating and executing against roadmaps that focus on solution development and implementation.

  • Aligning with other key stakeholder groups (such as Project Management & Software Engineering) to become the link between the business divisions and the solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing, and maintaining solutions.

Your skills and experiences

  • Degree in economics, computer science, software engineering or comparable professional experience, combined with solid knowledge of the bank's business processes.

  • Several years of professional experience as a BFA or Product Owner, especially in complex environments involving multiple applications, ideally also as a team lead

  • Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to converting ideas into requirements in a Scaled Agile environment.

  • Proven collaboration with cross‑functional teams (Engineering, Product, QA, UX) in agile environments and fluent in both in English and German

  • Deep understanding of SDLC processes and experience introducing structured analysis and documentation practices. Hands on with the standard tools (Jira, Confluence) and in BPMN 2.0, Adonis
