Role Details

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to manage and support enterprise-scale databases, data warehouses, and data marts within the Asset Management, Fund Accounting, and Investment domain. The role requires strong expertise in regulatory reporting (BaFin, FCA, Bundesbank), production stability, and large-scale data platforms. Help reduce Open Audit Findings with resolving underlying Audit Action Items within the stipulated closure deadlines
You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of critical data platforms, partnering closely with business, audit, and technology stakeholders. This role also involves leading platform migrations, supporting regulatory initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across data engineering and integration landscapes.

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer (m/f/d) your key responsibilities will be:

  • Manage end‑to‑end data operations across warehouses and databases, ensuring data quality, reliability, and smooth daily execution.
  • Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines supporting both operational and analytical use cases across on‑premises and cloud environments.
  • Build and optimize data warehouses, lakes, and analytical stores, handling structured and semi‑structured data efficiently.
  • Apply strong data modeling practices to design reusable schemas for OLTP/OLAP workloads, including documentation of lineage and transformations.
  • Implement data quality, governance, and observability controls to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proactive issue resolution across platforms.
  • Develop optimized SQL and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high‑quality data products for reporting, analytics, and downstream consumption.

We are looking for

  • 15+ years of IT experience with strong expertise in data engineering, building and operating production‑grade data pipelines across large, complex datasets.
  • Advanced SQL skills and hands‑on experience with modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Informatica, cloud data warehouses, or distributed query engines.
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT patterns, data modeling, schema design, and integration across multiple data sources.
  • Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and observability, with exposure to enterprise data management standards.
  • Cloud ecosystem familiarity, along with experience or exposure to automation, CI/CD, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, with proven ability to work effectively in cross‑functional and agile teams.
