Details of the Division and Team:
We are seeking a highly versatile and detail-oriented individual, to join the HR team in Sydney. Reporting directly to the Country Head of Human Resources, Australia, this role provides comprehensive support across a variety of HR functions, with a particular focus on employee wellbeing, benefits administration, and operational excellence. Your key responsibilities:
Benefits management: the local benefits specialist responsible for managing vendor relationships, contract coordination, employee communications, developing new inititatives and coordination of onsite benefit events
Wellbeing and inclusion: support and design wellbeing and inclusion initiatives, partner with employee resource groups to deliver events and initiatives, source resources for and coordinate the Mental Health First Aiders group
Reporting and analytics: analyse HR and employee survey data, contribute to and create content for reporting and insights for country leadership
HR operations and governance: support the HR team with various operational and governance activities, including employee communications, business continuity management, expense management and coordination of our early careers orientation programs and development opportunities. Identify opportunities for and support the integration of AI and automation tools to enhance HR process efficiency, data analysis, and employee experience across wellbeing, benefits, and operational tasks
Your skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in a Human Resources role (3-4 years or more), preferably within a corporate or financial services environment
Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to prepare comprehensive reports and interpret data
Experience in benefits administration, vendor management, and contract negotiation
A strong interest in and aptitude for adopting new technologies, including AI, to enhance HR processes, communications and efficiency
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Workday
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Proactive and resourceful with a strong client-service orientation
