The Relationship Manager works with the Wealth Management Senior Lead to meet agreed sales and revenue targets. The Sales Specialist will generate detailed client / product knowledge, market knowledge and cultivate client relationships in order to generate sales opportunities. The Sales Specialist will work to develop deep understanding of the client need / product detail and Bank’s capabilities with the aim of meeting client satisfaction expectations. The Sales Specialist will be conversant relevant legal, regulatory and Bank policy requirements and operate accordingly. Together with the Lead Salesperson ensure liaison with existing clients. Researching and fostering new client opportunities. Building the necessary working relationships with origination, trading, research, client services, and operations staff – if applicable & to the degree that is commensurate with the business area - to ensure effective end to end client / product delivery.
Responsibilities
Responsibility for growth of a dedicated portfolio of Greek HNW and UHNW clients with clear P&L accountability. Drive new client acquisition in the Greek and market and among the Greek diaspora with a strong focus on net new assets and revenue growth.
Lead comprehensive, highly personalized relationship management for Greek private clients entrepreneurs and family offices coordinating all product and specialist support.
Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction and customer loyalty
Supervision and coordination of administration and business management within the scope of valid processes and policies
Increase share of wallet by identifying and executing cross-selling opportunities across investments, lending, wealth planning and corporate/investment banking solutions
Oversee administration, onboarding quality and documentation of client relationships in line with internal processes, MiFID II, cross-border and Greek/EU regulatory requirements.
Professional and strategic management of WM target customers, taking into account an investor-friendly policy and investment advice
Asset allocation in terms of strategic and tactical asset allocation. Development and implementation of structured sales ideas in close collaboration with the Investment Manager
Skills
University degree and/or recognized banking qualifications
15 years of experience in managing Greek UHNW relationships at a leading private bank dealing with strong track record in business development and P&L responsibility
Builds strong trust-based partnerships with superiors and colleagues across markets and functions
Strong team orientation, focused on collective results, sharing information and successes at team level
Proven sales strength, goal orientation and ability to originate, negotiate and close complex client mandates
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build long-term trusted relationships with sophisticated Greek clients and their advisors
Deep understanding of the Greek market environment; tax and regulatory framework business culture, competitive landscape and cross-border constraints
Willingness to travel regularly between booking centers and Greece.
Readiness of mind, pro-active attitude, clear structured working methods
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Performance orientation and assertiveness
Excellent English and German or French. Other languages will be an added value.
