Your key responsibilities
- Work with business users to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Understanding of business processes, workflows, and industry-specific knowledge to align solutions with organisational goals and strategies
- Analyse complex data sets, identify patterns, and derive meaningful insights to support decision-making and problem-solving
- Expertise in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements, creating functional specifications, and user stories
- Assist in database design and data warehousing
- Identify issues, evaluate alternatives, and propose innovative solutions to address business challenges
- Skill in managing relationships and expectations among diverse stakeholders, including clients, users, developers, and management
- Ability to adapt to changing project scopes, priorities, and timelines while remaining focused on delivering quality outcomes
What You'll Do
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand, document, and prioritize requirements for EPM and regulatory projects.
- Translate complex business needs into clear, actionable functional and technical specifications.
- Support analysis of current processes, identify gaps, and design improved workflows using process modeling tools (e.g., BPMN).
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Support regulatory change initiatives by interpreting compliance requirements and embedding them into technology solutions
- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Track project progress, manage change requests, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
- Maintain documentation and knowledge repositories for future reference and audits.
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with excellent understanding of Enterprise Process Management and related NFRM requirements
- Good experience in writing database queries
- Rich Experience with working on regulatory reporting requirements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Process Management frameworks and tools.
- Experience working on regulatory compliance projects (e.g., data privacy, financial regulations, industry-specific mandates).
- Proficiency in process mapping, requirements elicitation, and documentation.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar.
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems into actionable solutions.
