Role Description
- You will be joining Deutsche Bank Management Consulting (DBMC), the Bank’s in-house management consulting global function that partners with senior executives across the bank to deliver impact. Your key responsibilities
- Lead and deliver end-to-end project modules across business and infrastructure functions, ap plying structured problem‑solving methodologies, clearly defining situation, complication, and decision points
- Formulate feasible tactical and strategic recommendations, ensuring alignment with Deutsche Bank’s strategic priorities, governance standards, and regulatory context.
- Drive hypothesis‑led, advanced analytics to generate robust insights and evidence‑based recom mendations and translate findings into clear, decision‑oriented messages tailored to senior and Board‑level audiences.
- Act as a primary day‑to‑day client contact for assigned project modules; independently lead cli ent meetings, workshops, and working sessions.
- Prepare high‑quality, insight‑driven materials for senior management and Board‑level forums, translating complex analysis into clear, compelling recommendations.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert (SME) for the project module topic, demonstrating strong under standing of the topic and integrate this knowledge into project delivery and client discussions.
- Own and contribute to project knowledge resources to enable knowledge reuse, consistency, and capability building within DBMC.
- Supervise, coach, and quality‑assure the work of junior consultants and ensure timely delivery of their outputs
- Leverage technology/AI‑enabled tools, to determine problem statements, improve analytical efficiency, generate insights, and develop recommendations, and quality of project deliverables
- Own and drive strategic internal initiatives alongside client projects, in close collaboration with consulting teams across London, Frankfurt and Mumbai
- Flexibility to work across global time zones (US/European hours), as required for the project needs and stakeholder interactions.
- Act in line with the bank’s values & aspirational culture, contributing to an inclusive, collabora tive, and high‑performance team environment.
- Ensure awareness of and adherence to relevant bank policies, practices, governance, and con trol requirements, proactively flagging delivery, risk, or stakeholder concerns.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for professionals with excellent academic performance across relevant disciplines), in all disciplines (Master's degree mandatory). Professional qualifications are important, but your personality is even more decisive to us.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant Consulting or Financial Services experience (Post MBA) focusing on strategy, transformation & demonstrating problem‑solving, structured thinking, and delivery ownership.
- Excellent analytical, structuring, and synthesis skills, with strong attention to detail and quality.
- Clear, confident communicator in English, capable of explaining and interpreting complex information to support stakeholder alignment and decision‑making; German language skills are an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and resolve conflicts constructively, balancing stakeholder perspectives to move topics forward.
- Commitment to continuous learning and development, Proven experience in coaching and developing junior professionals, with working knowledge of basic people and delivery management
- You enjoy working in cross-functional cross-regional teams
- You show initiative and commitment to topics you take on
- Proficiency in AI tools, with strong grounding in AI concepts, enterprise‑level AI use cases, and practical application of AI‑enabled problem‑solving) is a strong plus
