Deutsche Bank is looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will contribute to building, maintaining, and automating our cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Responsibilities:

• Assist in the deployment, maintenance, and monitoring of scalable and secure infrastructure components on GCP.
• Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using tools like Terraform to manage cloud resources.
• Support the development and optimization of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows for efficient software delivery.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable application releases.
• Help automate repetitive operational tasks to improve system efficiency and reliability.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of scripts for automation, monitoring, and deployments.
• Adhere to and learn about security best practices in infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Participate in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues.

Skills & Experience:

• Foundational understanding of cloud concepts and services, with a strong interest in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Basic familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles; exposure to Terraform is a significant plus.
• Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git/GitHub.
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts; familiarity with GitHub Workflows is a bonus.
• Basic scripting skills in at least one language (e.g., Python, Bash, Go, JavaScript).
• Awareness of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A relevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
