Details of the role and how it fits into the team

As part of the Corporate Bank, Corporate Coverage offers treasury solutions to multinational corporate (MNC) clients along the core products of the Corporate Bank (Corporate Cash Management, Trade Finance & Lending) including risk management solutions (FX, Rates and Investment Solutions) and in close cooperation with other divisions of the bank. As part of the Global Corporate Coverage D/A/CH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) team, the Senior Originator is responsible for driving growth with clients covered in his/her/x client portfolio, with a strong focus on the automotive sector.

Your key responsibilities

• Originate new business with new and existing multinational corporate clients across all core treasury products (Cash, Trade, Lending, FX, Rates and Liquidity) and other key Corporate Bank growth areas

• Act as Senior Coverage Banker for own portfolio of multinational corporate clients, strategically developing a profitable client portfolio in line with DB's value proposition and high-quality commitment

• Coordinate regulatory processes for this client segment with internal stakeholders (AFC, KYC, etc.)

• Act as Industry Coordinator for Automotive (OEM) – define the sector’s commercial agenda from a Coverage perspective to drive sector-wide revenue activation, act as central integrator across Coverage, Sales, and Service functions, leading sector-wide communication in leadership forums

Your skills and experiences

• Strong project and leadership skills and well-established relationships with senior clients

• Excellent knowledge across all core treasury products (Cash, Trade, Lending, FX, Rates and Liquidity)

• Deep sector expertise in Automotive (OEM sector)

• Strategic and analytical mindset to focus on innovative origination themes and solutions, dedicated to delivering value to our clients and Deutsche Bank

• Experience in the management of complex tasks paired with a forward-looking, international and interdisciplinary perspective

• Existing know-how of relevant regulatory requirements

• Strong commitment to integrity, professionalism, and teamwork

• Fluent in German and English
