Location: Pune, India
Role Description
The VP, Innovation Product Management, will be an expert in solution design and a key leader for the bank's central innovation platform. This role requires an individual with deep expertise in translating complex business needs into intuitive and effective digital workflows and forms. You will be responsible for managing senior stakeholder relationships, overseeing vendor performance, and driving the strategic evolution of the platform's capabilities.

Your key responsibilities
Strategic Ownership & Vision
- Define and drive the overall strategy for the iTonics platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise and business objectives.
- Maintain strong foresight into the data landscape within iTonics, including current data assets, future needs, and optimization opportunities.
- Develop and communicate a clear product roadmap that balances business value, technical feasibility, and long-term platform sustainability.
Product & Requirement Management
- Act as the primary point of ownership for iTonics, representing business and stakeholder interests.
- Understand, analyze, and prioritize new reporting and analytics requirements, ensuring clarity of scope and expected outcomes.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications for the delivery team.
- Drive platform enhancements, including defining scope, estimating effort, and prioritizing improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement & Governance
- Engage proactively with business stakeholders, leadership, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and manage expectations.
- Represent iTonics in LSRB (or equivalent governance) discussions to secure required approvals and funding.
- Participate in bank-wide initiatives and events, ensuring iTonics requirements are well understood and appropriately incorporated.
Financial & Commercial Responsibility
- Lead license management and commercial discussions related to the iTonics platform.
Team Leadership & Delivery Enablement
- Lead and support a team of up to six members, providing direction, prioritization, and clarity of responsibilities.
- Convert new business demands into actionable technical tasks, ensuring the team has well-defined and achievable work items.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Process, Design & Implement
- For new initiatives or campaigns:
- Understand end-to-end business requirements.
- Design new processes, flows, entities, or campaigns as required.
- Define and document clear roles and responsibilities, ensuring smooth adoption and execution.
- Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and platform usability.
Target Operating Model (TOM)
- Define and own the Target Operating Model for the iTonics platform, covering people, process, technology, and governance.
- Establish clear operating boundaries between business, product, engineering, and support functions.
- Design and document:
- End-to-end platform operating processes (intake, prioritization, delivery, release, support).
- Decision-making frameworks for enhancements, reporting requests, and data changes.
- Ownership and accountability models across business, IT, and vendor teams.
- Ensure the TOM supports:
- Scalability of the platform.
- Faster turnaround for reporting and insights.
- Compliance with enterprise architecture, risk, and control standards.
- Periodically review and evolve the TOM to align with changing business priorities and platform maturity.
Your skills and experience
- Expertise in leading requirement gathering, solution design, and translating complex business needs into functional specifications.
- Extensive hands-on experience in designing and building enterprise-grade digital workflows and dynamic forms using low-code/no-code platforms, specifically Microsoft Power Platform, Appian, or similar tools.
- Deep understanding and practical application of UI/UX principles to deliver user-centric and highly adoptable solutions.
- Proven ability in senior stakeholder management, acting as a trusted advisor and effectively communicating product vision and updates.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic vendor management, including contract negotiations, pricing models, and issue resolution.
- Strong knowledge of data modelling, data architecture, and data visualization strategies.
- In-depth knowledge of governance and control functions within a regulated banking environment.
Qualifications & Certifications
- Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field is standard.
- Experience: Significant experience in digital product management, project management, or a senior business analyst role (typically 10+ years of relevant IT and BPM experience).
- Certifications: Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or similar low-code/no-code platforms are highly preferred.
- Prior experience with the ITONICS platform is a plus.
