Overview
As an AVP within the Accounting Close technology team, you will support and enhance SAP Finance platforms used across general ledger and financial close processes. You will partner with finance, accounting, and technology teams to ensure accurate processing, system stability, and controlled delivery during close cycles. This role is techno‑functional, combining SAP Finance expertise with hands‑on support, integration, and operational activities in a regulated environment.

What You’ll Do
Support SAP Finance applications across Accounting Close and reporting processes
Work across SAP R/3, ECC, and S/4HANA environments, including close‑cycle support
Support core finance functions including General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Electronic Blue Sheets (EBS), Cost Center and Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders
Assist with Procure‑to‑Pay, Record‑to‑Report, and Order‑to‑Cash processes
Support reports, conversions, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW)
Manage incidents, problems, and changes in line with ITIL processes
Skills You’ll Need
Strong hands‑on experience with SAP Finance modules including GL, AP, AR, and Asset Accounting
Experience supporting SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments
Working knowledge of fiscal year close activities, including GL and asset close Experience with multicurrency accounting
Practical application of ITIL processes within production support environments
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Experience with SAP ECC to S/4HANA migrations (1909 and above)
Experience working with cross‑functional SAP teams including SD, MM, Basis, Security, and ABAP
Exposure to integrations with systems such as Concur and Ariba
Hands‑on experience acting as a techno‑functional consultant
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder communication skills
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $132,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
