Overview
As an Analyst within the Accounting Close technology team, you will support data integration and processing platforms used during accounting close cycles. You will work with technology and finance partners to ensure data pipelines operate reliably and financial data is processed accurately and on time. This role focuses on production support, monitoring, incident resolution, and operational stability within a controlled environment.

What You’ll Do
Support the production platform, carrying out monitoring and remediation of issues and specific maintenance tasks as per the run book procedures
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you are expected to carry out deep technical analysis of the production to identify performance, stability, and resilience enhancements
Prioritize and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures, investigate causes of incidents, seek resolution, and facilitate recovery
Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and continuously improve the production support environment
Serve as DevOps Lead, work closely with the Change team in driving and embedding the production readiness controls (as part of the Software Delivery Lifecycle)
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with strong troubleshooting, and collaboration in a mixed team
Strong hands-on experience Structured Query Language, Oracle Procedural Language / Structured Query Language, Extract, Transform, Load/ Informatica, Unix/Linux, Shell script and debugging across infrastructure components and cloud technologies (Google Cloud Platform preferred)
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ansible for automation of various manual tasks
Hands on background in Site Reliability Engineering, including building Service Level Indicator/ Service Level Objective, and working with monitoring and scheduling tools such as Geneos, Splunk, Grafana, and Control M, as well as ticketing tool like service now
Ability to leverage or understand the potential of AI and Large Language Models in production environment is a plus
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles and Automation first mindset with a focus on reliability and service improvement
Experience in controlled production environments with strong knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library practices, global service operations, and financial technology domain or client facing support functions
Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing and alternating priorities (with a constant focus on delivery)
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $70,000 to $110,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
