About the Internship Program:
The Deutsche Bank Internship Program is designed to help you develop your skills through formal training and continuous support. PB Transformation US & EI manages an ambitious and diverse portfolio of transformation initiatives, including the Private Bank Target Operating Model (PB TOM), strategic change initiatives, and mandatory regulatory projects. This represents a challenging and dynamic environment for a young career starter who is completing their studies through an internship.
Role overview:
The intern will support the project managers across a broad range of project management activities, such as project planning, organizing and documenting meetings, preparing status reports, and documenting processes and procedures. In addition, the intern will explore and leverage AI tools (e.g. Copilot) to enhance the efficiency of project work, including generating high-level summaries of as-is functional models or processes based on existing documentation, as well as supporting the structured creation of project deliverables.
Tasks
- Support project managers in planning, tracking, and coordinating PB Transformation initiatives
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk & issue logs, and decision logs
- Organize, document, and follow up on project meetings, workshops, and steering committees
- Support stakeholder coordination across business, IT, operations, compliance and external partners
- Contribute to process analysis and documentation (as‑is / to‑be), including preparation of presentations and management summaries
- Assist in tracking milestones, dependencies, and deliverables across parallel workstream
- Leverage AI tools (e.g. Copilot) to enhance project efficiency, including drafting summaries, consolidating documentation, and supporting the creation of structured project deliverables
- Support ad‑hoc analyses and preparation of materials for senior management and governance forums
Skills
- Business, Economics, Finance, Management, Engineering, or IT Student or Graduate (Bachelor, Master, or Gap Year)
- Strong interest in project management, transformation initiatives, and financial services
- Structured and analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to organize information, manage multiple tasks, and work in a deadline‑driven environment
- Very good written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear and concise documentation
- Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); interest in digital tools and AI‑enabled ways of working (e.g. Copilot)
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently while collaborating in cross‑functional teams
- Language: English mandatory; German and/or French are additional assets
