This role is key to deliver ASM project which monitors all the IS critical applications is the bank. As an Application Security Monitoring Project Manager, will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of project focused on monitoring and securing applications.
Impact: Not having this role will affect the deliverables for ASM project and reduce the compliance of app monitoring and might lead to audit findings

Responsibilities

Project Planning and Execution: Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, creating project plans, managing timelines, and allocating resources. Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and risk management. Contributing to the improvement of application security processes and procedures.

Security Integration: Ensuring that security is embedded and the Application teams have performed required due diligence to integrate the required logs into SIEM solutions for performing the Application Security Monitoring.

Risk Assessment: Performing risk assessments to identify potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

Reporting and Communication: Providing regular project status updates to stakeholders, reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress and any other blockers to SteerCo

Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.

Cloud Experience: Experience working with cloud-based applications and services is often preferred.

Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams.

Skills

• 7+ years’ experience in project management within tech, data and cross functional teams.
• Expert in Jira, Confluence, and Agile reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Security Certified – CISSP,CISM ...
• Excellent interpersonal, influential and communication skills and ability to interact with senior stakeholders.
• Good project management skills including the ability to prioritize key tasks and deliverables together with engineering and Ops teams.
• Structured, organised and results oriented approach, demonstrating a high level of diligence and attention to detail.
• Technical and highly complex delivery experience in banking sector.
• Ability to execute independently to a high quality and to meet deadlines.
• Experience of working in a global or matrixed organisation is desirable.
• Strong Excel skills and PowerPoint proficient
• Experience of working with external vendors
