About the Desk
As part of the Corporate Bank, Corporate Coverage offers treasury solutions to large international corporates along the core products of Corporate Bank (Corporate Cash Management, Trade Finance & Lending) and risk management solutions (FX & Rates). The focus of the role is on the global support of corporate clients within the Corporate Coverage Switzerland teams (Global Corporate Coverage) and the development of tailor-made solutions in line with the special needs of these client groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support of team heads and teams in covering corporate clients with growth potential across core treasury products (Cash, Trade, Lending, Foreign Exchange & Rates)
- Support acquisition efforts to grow existing target market of midcap clients
- Collaboration on growth initiatives in the core together with our product partners in Trade, Cash, Risk Management Solutions and TAS
- Ensure effective control environment
- Coordinate regulatory processes for this client segment with internal stakeholders (anti financial crime, know your client)
- Actively support team in preparing client pitches and conducting in-depth research ahead of meetings with clients or prospects. Conduct market research to support the extension of the client portfolio.
Competencies & skills:
- Bachelor or masters degree in Finance or Economics
- Experience in coverage of (corporate) clients
- Experience with the special corporate culture in the way the bank and customers work together (response times, style of communication, etc.)
- High affinity in the field of innovation / digitization and initial support of customer projects
- Experience in the management of complex tasks paired with a forward-looking and interdisciplinary perspective
- Client focus, commitment, solution / efficiency orientation and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication and computer skills in Power Point and Excel
- Fluent in German and English
