Details of the Division and Team:

The Credit Trader (Fixed Income & Currencies) is responsible for market-making in CNY corporate bonds and managing book risk across a diverse range of products, including rates bonds, interest rate swaps (IRS), and FX.This role drives franchise growth by developing new products, expanding origination and distribution channels in collaboration with Sales, and ensuring rigorous risk management.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Fixed Income Trading: Act as the dedicated Fixed Income Trader for DB China flow trading, driving revenue growth while strictly adhering to the established limit framework.

  • Expand Franchise: Identify and capture new market opportunities to build and scale the bank's franchise alongside internal stakeholders.

  • Manage Portfolio Risk: Monitor and manage trading book risk dynamically across fixed income, derivatives, and FX products.

  • Collaborate Across Desks: Partner with Sales and Structuring to enhance product origination and distribution capabilities.

Your skills and experience:

  • Market Expertise: 2–5 years of trading experience with deep fundamental and technical knowledge of the CNY fixed income market.

  • Risk Management: Proven understanding of portfolio risk dynamics and the impact of macroeconomic and microeconomic indicators.

  • Relationship Management: Demonstrated grasp of the sales-trader model, with a track record of building strong internal partnerships and external client relationships.

  • Core Competencies: Highly motivated, innovative, and detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to operational efficiency.

  • Communication: Fluent professional English (both written and spoken).
