Team / division overview

Human Resources plays a pivotal role in shaping DWS’ culture, talent strategy, and overall employee experience. As a Human Resources Analyst, you will partner closely with local and regional leadership and support HR Business Partners in executing people strategies. You will provide advisory support and contribute to fostering an engaging, diverse, and high-performing work environment.

The HR EMEA team supports employees across 10 countries (Austria, France, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Luxembourg, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Arab Emirates), providing timely, high-quality advice and guidance to business leaders across divisions. This includes support on functional HR topics aligned with DWS’ strategy, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable legal and regulatory frameworks.

The team collaborates extensively across HR functions to implement policies, processes, and initiatives that support both company-wide and divisional objectives.

Your responsibilities

As an HR Business Advisory Analyst/Business Advisor you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a first point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related queries.

  • Supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle processes.

  • Coordinating and supporting the local implementation of global HR initiatives.

  • Maintaining HR systems and ensuring data accuracy (e.g., Workday).

  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and facilitating communication between HR and the business.

  • Supporting HR projects, policy implementation, and employee engagement initiatives.

  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies.

We are looking for:

  • Prior HR experience (generalist, advisory, or specialist roles) within a regulated industry sector and experience of operating in a global matrix environment.

  • Knowledge of Spanish employment law and HR practices.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively within a transformation environment.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.t

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (e.g., Workday).

  • Ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders.

  • Ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.

  • Educated to degree level or with equivalent work experience.
