DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. As part of the TDI PB Investment Solutions/ Global Investments & Capital Markets Domain, the Requirements Engineer - Business Functional Analyst will play a key role in analysis and delivery of TOM initiative related to instrument data management, driving the consolidation and standardization of instrument data capabilities and supporting the positioning of PDB as the global golden source for instrument data. The role will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements, align target operating model processes, manage dependencies, and ensure that data governance, quality, and integration requirements are translated into scalable and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying the full range of business requirements and translating requirements into specific functional specifications for solution development and implementation;
  • Analyzing business requirements and the associated impacts of the changes;
  • Designing and assisting business in developing optimal target state;
  • Creating and executing against roadmaps that focus on solution development and implementation;
  • Aligning with other key stakeholder groups (such as project management, software engineering, vendor) to support the link between the business divisions and the solution providers for all aspects of identifying, implementing, and maintaining solutions;
  • Documentation of requirements, processes and controls in Confluence and Jira;
  • Support for maintaining and prioritizing the product backlogs;
  • Pre-go-live change management, assisting and supporting SIT and UAT phases;
  • Process & data optimization and automation analysis.

Skills:

  • Strong experience with banking-related processes like Capital Markets, Investments or Treasury;
  • Strong experience as an active Business Functional Analyst in IT projects across the entire SDLC;
  • Very good knowledge on technology & database concepts, SQL, ETL, Data Analytics;
  • Excellent Excel skills;
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodologies;
  • Experience in large projects or transformation projects in a big financial enterprise would be beneficial;
  • Social and intercultural competence for the successful handling of all internal and external and international stakeholders, as well as good analytical, conceptual thinking, pronounced autonomy and initiative;
  • Higher education in a finance or computer science field;
  • Language skills, fluence in English, German language is a plus.
