Overview

The IT Project Manager - Platform Services will lead technology delivery, change execution, and platform modernization initiatives across core wealth management and banking platforms. The role will coordinate business, operations, technology, vendor, and control stakeholders to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-governed solutions across FIS, TCS BaNCS, Pershing, and related platform services.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of platform services projects, from planning and scope definition through implementation, testing, and stabilization

  • Manage initiatives across key platforms including FIS Global Plus, TCS BaNCS, Pershing/NetX360, and associated digital, middle-office, back-office, and data platforms

  • Partner with business, operations, technology, risk, compliance, security, and vendor teams to define requirements and deliver effective solutions

  • Oversee project governance, delivery milestones, RAID management, budget tracking, status reporting, and executive stakeholder communications

  • Drive platform enhancements by improving interfaces, integrations, data flows, APIs, batch processing, workflow automation, and straight-through processing

  • Ensure successful delivery through strong vendor management, regulatory and audit compliance, operational resilience, production stability, and continuous process improvement

How You’ll Lead

  • Lead cross-functional relationships across business, operations, application ownership, architecture, infrastructure, information security, risk, compliance, and control functions to align priorities and remove delivery barriers

  • Direct third-party platform and service-provider relationships, including statements of work, delivery commitments, dependencies, service performance, and issue escalation

  • Provide transparent governance and executive communications, framing decisions and escalating risks, issues, and dependencies to support timely delivery and production readiness

Skills You’ll Need

  • Extensive IT project management experience across software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile and hybrid delivery, vendor implementation, testing, release management, and production readiness within financial services

  • Working knowledge of FIS Global Plus or similar investment, custody, trust, account servicing, and operations platforms; TCS BaNCS or comparable core banking platforms; and Pershing/NetX360 brokerage capabilities

  • Strong knowledge of APIs, batch files, middleware, downstream feeds, reconciliations, data synchronization, customer and account master data, workflow automation, and system-of-record considerations

  • Experience translating business and operational requirements into delivery plans, functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, target-state workflows, and implementation roadmaps

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimize workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Excellent executive-level written and verbal communication, including concise status reporting, decision framing, issue escalation, and steering committee materials

  • Strong analytical capability to assess current-state processes, identify gaps, document target-state workflows, and drive practical remediation plans

  • Ability to manage competing priorities, influence without direct authority, and drive delivery in a matrixed global organization

  • Experience with production support, incident analysis, control remediation, audit issue closure, operational risk reduction, document imaging, or workflow platforms

  • Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certification

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $225,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
