About the Team

The Marketing Technology is responsible for delivering best-in-class tools, data, and processes so teams at DoorDash can effectively acquire new customers, drive retention, and grow new business lines across all our audiences, including Consumers, Dashers, and Merchants. Our mission is to enable teams to deliver personalized, engaging, and relevant content across all our owned and paid channels. We partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Analytics teams to translate Marketing’s technology needs into measurable business outcomes for our Growth and Performance Marketing teams.

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled technical web marketer to drive optimization and growth initiatives across DoorDash’s Marketing web properties. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams to develop and execute web initiatives across all our lines of business.

You'll play a key role in optimizing and improving our Marketing websites, including leading strategy and execution for initiatives across our CMS (Contentful), SEO, CRO programs, as well as managing web tracking and reporting.

This role will report to Sr Manager, Marketing Platforms on our Marketing Technology team within the Growth Marketing organization.

  • Lead user experience improvements, A/B testing, SEO, and CRO initiatives to optimize web properties and boost conversion rates
  • Identify and prioritize new growth opportunities across our Marketing sites
  • Work with Product and Engineering to implement new features, optimize user journeys, and ensure consistent brand experience across all web touchpoints
  • Establish scalable processes for managing web content, testing, and optimization
  • Own tracking, tagging, and reporting for all our websites, helping our Marketing and Performance teams drive impact through paid media channels
  • Leverage analytical skills to deliver actionable insights from web performance data and user behavior analytics
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Problem-solve independently, turning strategic goals into actionable projects for Web Engineering teams
  • Plan and execute testing roadmaps, adapting quickly based on real-time insights

We’re excited about you because you possess…

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with 4+ years in web marketing, digital optimization, or a technical marketing role
  • Track record in managing web projects, including optimization, content management, and digital marketing, with strong analytical and technical capabilities
  • Advanced knowledge of Google Tag Manager, Analytics tools (e.g. GA, Amplitude), and experience with A/B testing platforms
  • Experience working with data visualization tools (Sigma, Looker, etc)
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and a fundamental understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles and best practices for website optimization
  • Experience with web and app tracking/attribution, including hands-on experience with tracking methodologies across digital platforms (e.g., Mobile Measurement Partners, Customer Data Platforms).
  • A good understanding of key metrics like CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV, as well as experience managing paid marketing channels (Social, Display, Affiliate, Search, Mobile).
  • Experience in advertising platforms such as Google and Facebook, along with technical aspects like platform attribution, pixels, app attribution, and APIs.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington.
