About the Role

As an Senior Associate on the ANZ International New Verticals S&O team, you will be responsible for improving quality across our various merchants. You’ll operate at the lowest level of detail to use data and consumer insights to identify deliveries and trends where we are not meeting customer expectations, define experiments and strategies on how to address them and get 1% better every day, then turn those strategies into initiatives and iterate (rapidly) to deliver better quality.

Your north star in this role will be improving order quality: anything that may cause a customer to not return to DoorDash, including cancellations, lateness, out of stock items, incorrect items and much more. You’ll use SQL and analytics to monitor trends, root cause any issues, and develop action plans; help roll out new product features designed to improve order quality as well as coming up with your own initiatives. You will also work cross-functionally with account management, product, engineering, finance, analytics, and operational teams to name a few.

You will report into the ANZ Associate Manager, Quality.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

Strategise - From first principles, you’ll develop strategies for where to prioritise our time in improving order quality for ANZ New Verticals,
Operate. Own tracking dashboards and manage week over week metrics to drive high quality and top-notch execution.
Analyse. Use SQL daily to evaluate the order quality from business wide trends down to delivery level root causing.
Experiment. You’ll transform strategies into operational experiments that create measurable and actionable outcomes
Build. You’ll have your fingerprints all over DoorDash’s next big business. You’ll launch new products, get 1% better every day, and scale something completely new. This means everything from high-level strategy to operational details.
Lead, collaborate and Influence. You’ll partner with and influence cross-functional teams including growth, quality, design, marketing, partnerships and product team to build and scale our New Verticals business.

You’re unafraid of ambiguity – Rapid change and learning is exciting to you, and you thrive in ambiguous, startup environment
