Perform routine manual work in cle aning,servicing, and stockingsupplies in Duke University buildings.

Work Performed

Clean and service assigned areas in Univer sitybuildingsand maintainsufficient stock and supplies for the proper pe rformanceoftheseduties.Sweep, mop, buff and spray buff floors and vacuum rugs andcarpets inassigned area as needed.Clean rest rooms, offices, an d replenish supplies.Wash windows, walls and other assigned areas.Pick u p trash,empty garbage containers, and remove all trash to areafor dispos al.Sanitize all trash containers as necessary to meet Health Departmentr equirements.Maintain a running log of all calls received and all baggage placedinstorage room.Pack, unpackand assist in receiving, issuing and t ransportingmaterials; report needed items for reorder.Aid in transferrin g various items between departments and throughoutthe University.Perform otherrelated duties incidental to the work described herein.The above statements describe the general nature and level of workbeing performed b y individuals assigned to this classification.This is not intended to be anexhaustive list of all responsibilitiesand duties required of personn elsoclassified.
