Clinical Research Coordinator – Psychiatry – Child – Posner Lab

Participates in or lead day-to-day operations of clinical research studies conducted by principal investigator(s) at Duke Health; performs a variety of duties involved in the collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis of clinical research data. May oversee the work of junior staff and train or mentor others in clinical research tasks.
The MOMMA Study explores how pre-pregnancy obesity in pregnant people might affect children's emotional development and risk for mental health conditions, such as anxiety and depression. We're investigating whether these effects are linked to changes in the mother's gut health and metabolism during pregnancy.
Minimum Requirements:
- Completion of an Associate's degree.
- Work requires a minimum of two years of relevant research experience. A bachelor's degree may substitute for 2 years required experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have a personal vehicle and be willing to drive for work-related purposes
- Prior experience working with pregnant individuals and children is strongly preferred
- Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed

This role will be responsible for:
- Recruitment
- Phlebotomy
- Biospecimen collection and handling
- Fetal and Toddler MRI scans
- Psychiatric diagnostic interviews
- Behavioral assessments
- Data entry and other administrative tasks
- IRB and regulatory assistance

Anticipated Pay Range:
Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $ 59,829.00 to USD $99,960.00.
