Eastdil Secured is the foremost provider of financial advisory services to real estate owners. We combine superior capital markets expertise with a deep understanding of real estate fundamentals to execute a wide range of transactions to produce superior results for our clients. Our M&A/Corporate Advisory team is dedicated to understanding the unique operating environments of our public and private real estate clients. The group uniquely combines strong relationships, capital markets expertise, and real estate knowledge to provide corporate clients with outstanding advice. Advisory capabilities include but are not limited to mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, equity and debt recapitalizations, and portfolio sales.

All U.S. Analysts will start in August with an in-house training program in Santa Monica, CA. This valuable opportunity focuses on underwriting principles, real estate valuation, and financial modeling. This program will also provide a comprehensive overview of our deal processes, which is critical to understanding the necessary context associated with the transactions we participate in.

As an Analyst, you will:

  • Develop various financial analyses, including entity level and portfolio valuations and joint venture, take-private, and merger analysis
  • Create pitches, proposals, and marketing materials
  • Participate in client meetings, due diligence visits, and other client interactions to gain exposure to key executives and senior bankers
  • Perform comprehensive and in-depth company, real estate, and market analysis
  • Conduct research, participating in strategic planning and assisting in the execution of advisory services
  • Perform due diligence collection and review
  • Develop understanding of clients’ investment strategy and risk appetite to build a long-term relationship with Eastdil Secured

To be considered, you must have obtained a bachelor’s degree or graduate degree with academic distinction by Spring of 2025 and have professional experience through internships, part-time or full-time work or extra-curricular activities. Candidates must be able to work in the United States on a permanent basis.

What we’re looking for:

  • 0-3 years of experience in real estate finance
  • Exposure to financial modeling within Excel and Argus Enterprise
  • Dedication to building a career in the financial services industry with a focus on real estate finance
  • Willingness to work hard in a demanding and highly focused environment
  • Ability to collaborate with others and work on a team
  • Energetic self-starters who are flexible, organized, conscientious, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Demonstrated personal accountability with an urgency for achieving results

At Eastdil Secured, we seek individuals who have the expertise, integrity and dedication needed to drive meaningful impact for our clients. We hire and advance based on merit and actively engage talent with diverse backgrounds and perspectives, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation throughout our company.

Eastdil Secured will not sponsor visas for these positions and will not hire individuals whose work eligibility is based on, for example, F-1 or other student visa status. In addition, not only must candidates be able to work in the United States without sponsorship when hired, they must maintain the ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship throughout their employment.
