The Corporate Account Manager (CAM) is responsible for growing existing customer relationships, retaining existing business, leading strategic account planning, driving innovation, leading and developing field staff, overseeing customer service/solution delivery, and managing profitability. The CAM will leverage their expertise in critical and strategic thinking, business and financial acumen, and enterprise perspective to achieve success.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Grow Existing Customers: Expand business with existing customers by understanding their operations and needs, and positioning Ecolab solutions.

  • Retain Existing Business: Ensure customer satisfaction, broaden relationships, and prove value to stakeholders.

  • Lead Strategic Account Planning: Develop strategies to meet customer needs and increase satisfaction.

  • Drive Innovation: Identify emerging customer needs and communicate them to Ecolab.

  • Lead and Develop Field Staff: Enhance field staff capabilities to meet customer needs.

  • Oversee Customer Service/Solution Delivery: Ensure service agreements are met and manage challenging situations.

  • Manage Profitability: Apply knowledge to improve profitability and engage internal resources.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree

  • 5 – 7 years of B2B sales experience with a large, international, matrix organization

  • Prior experience in the food industry

  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively

  • Experience working with and knowledge of computers (e.g., MS Office suite)

  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to develop relationship at executive level

  • Excellent negotiation skills

  • Driver’s license

  • Fluency in English

  • Proven track record of sales growth and customer retention.

  • Direct experience in customer-relevant industries.

  • Proven track record of engaging, directing, and motivating people.

  • Direct experience in Ecolab to understand how products and services add value.
