The Senior Treasury Manager – Special Projects will be an essential member of Ecolab’s Treasury team. This role will lead special projects across the treasury team to enable transformation of our treasury operating model, including its key processes and technologies. This St. Paul-based position reports to the Assistant Treasurer and will interact with global teams inside the finance function as well as key external parties, including Ecolab’s global relationship banks, treasury technology vendors and consultants.


What You Will Do:

  • Lead initiatives to transform various aspects of the treasury operating model, including cash management, cash positioning & cashflow forecasting, efficient cash pooling/liquidity structures, banking administration and FX exposure management, trading and settlement.
  • Analyze and recommend changes in critical treasury core processes to drive efficiency while maintaining strong controls.
  • Evaluate different treasury technologies and systems to either implement a new treasury management system or further enhance the existing systems by leveraging more modules / functions to automate key processes and enhance controls.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration for treasury operations.
  • Support cross-functional projects including working capital, payments and collections solutions as well as ad-hoc projects for Capital Markets, Internal Finance Committee and other functions as needed.
  • Serve as treasury AI captain and partner with technology team to explore, test & learn innovative solutions for treasury operations to optimize and provide actionable insights to enhance financial decision-making and operational efficiency.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or a related field
  • 7 years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting
  • Immigration sponsorship not available for this role

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA and/or CFA
  • Strong attention to detail, executive communication skills, time management and organization, presentation and problem-solving skills
  • Collaborative partner who builds relationships and can influence diverse stakeholders
  • Continuous improvement and outcomes focused mindset
  • Dedicated, proven manager and developer of talent
  • Must have the ability to demonstrate overall business acumen and understanding of treasury operations and have curiosity to learn new subject matter
  • Experience in a multinational corporation or financial institution especially in transformation – simplifying, standardizing, automating
  • Knowledge of treasury technology and systems

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $130,100.00 - $195,100.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
