Global Quality Manager III, High Tech

Ecolab’s Colloidal Technology Group transforms molecular sodium silicate into colloidal silica particles ranging from 1.5 to 100 nanometers in size and 6–50% in concentration. We produce approximately 60 different products and ship them globally to a diverse customer base.

We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on leader who will challenge the status quo, drive continuous improvement, and help the team deliver on its business objectives. This role will lead global quality and process improvement initiatives across our Microelectronics platform, with a focus on optimizing manufacturing performance, enhancing quality systems, and supporting new product scale-up.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and deploy global strategies for Microelectronics product platforms, focusing on safety, efficiency, quality, and cost optimization

  • Lead global projects to implement best practices in manufacturing, aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and Microelectronics standards

  • Collaborate with RD&E and regional plants to roll out standardized operational and equipment practices

  • Support global capital investment planning and technology platform strategy

  • Drive execution of a global portfolio of projects to improve quality, process capability, yield, and profitability

  • Partner with business leaders to proactively meet evolving customer requirements in the Microelectronics industry

  • Provide hands-on leadership in resolving quality issues and managing product defect investigations

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable improvements in operational performance

Position Details

  • Location: Clearing, IL (with flexibility to sit in Naperville, IL if preferred)

  • Travel: Frequent travel between Clearing and Naperville; in addition to approximately 1 trip per year traveling abroad

  • Visa Sponsorship: Sponsorship is not available for this position

  • Relocation: yes, a relocation package would be provided for the right candidate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or a related discipline

  • 10 years of experience in quality management, quality systems, or a related function

  • 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or similar field

  • Advanced technical degree

  • Experience in supply chain or semiconductor manufacturing

  • 10 years of experience in manufacturing chemistries supporting colloidal silica processes and new product development

  • Background in large-scale project management and financial justification for capital investments

  • 5 years of experience in technology management (e.g., supply chain engineering, process development, platform management, RD&E)

  • 3 years of experience leading deployment of process technology projects in manufacturing

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The base salary range for this position is $117,200.00 - $175,800.00. This position is eligible for annual bonus pay based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
