The role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join our team. This is a fantastic generalist role working across our diverse range of industries. You will promote trusted advice to managers, supporting fair and consistent resolution of workplace issues, helping to shape a positive and high-performing culture. From promoting proactive engagement and ensuring compliance with local legislation, you will also dive into large employee data sets to uncover trends, identify opportunities and help shape impactful HR initiatives that make a difference. This is a role where you will play a vital role in making Ecolab a place where people feel heard, supported and empowered to do their best work.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Partner with business units to conduct workplace investigations

  • Reviewing and updating HR policies and processes

  • Monitor and interpret trends in employee data sets to shape HR initiatives

  • Take the lead for HR communication across ANZ

  • Provide ongoing HR support across the employee lifecycle

  • Be the go-to contact for employee queries and policy advice

Our ideal candidate may have:

  • A passion for Human Resources and the desire for a long-term Human Resources career

  • 2-3 year previous experience in a generalist HR role

  • Exposure to ER, having provided advice to managers on conduct, grievances and policy interpretation

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • A solution focussed approach to problem solving

  • Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks at same time
