Customer Data Engineer

Ecolab is seeking a Customer Data Engineer to lead the end-to-end deployment of our customer data sharing solutions. This role is integral in driving accelerated value for our customers, digital revenue for our company, and long-term customer relationships that lead to stability and growth. This customer-facing role will be the face of Ecolab Digital for our customers’ IT and Data stakeholders. Success in this role is critical in unlocking Ecolab’s digital ambition.
What You Will Do:
Own the end-to-end deployment process for our highly critical inbound and outbound data interoperability solutions; be the primary point of contact for the customer’s technical teams, leading the customer IT relationship during the deployment phase
Work with a cross-functional group of stakeholders, including sales, marketing, engineering, IT, R&D and product development, to drive maximum customer value and experience, leading to revenue and adoption of our data solutions
Be a key input for voice of customer, providing feedback to Product Managers & Business Analysts so features and capabilities can be prioritized in the product backlog
Leverage deep functional expertise and communication mediums to increase speed to invoicing by driving quicker deployment.
Partner with appropriate teams to ensure implementation of digital support model that enables delivery of the program goals
Identify operational efficiencies and product needs to be architected and implemented in a timely manner
Maintain customer & internal facing documentation to support our sales teams, customers and deployment teams; creation of internal technical documentation for new products and services
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's in Engineering, IT, or a related field
2 years experience in IoT, data, architecture, or related space
Experience with SaaS applications or with data management requirements in regulated industries is a plus
Ability to work with multiple data formats like JSON, CSV, XLSX, TXT, etc. and to develop custom ETL solutions as assigned
Experience with APIs, PI, Azure and other cloud solutions, or similar experience
Innovative, curious mindset with the ability to originate and apply new methods and procedures
Strong problem-solving skills, capable of tackling the toughest technical challenges
Knowledge of IT networking technology such as TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, OPC-UA, etc.
Experience in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel & Visio
