Territory Sales Representative, Purification Technologies

Ecolab is seeking a Territory Sales Representative to join our Purification Technologies sales team. The successful candidate will be responsible for existing account management and executing new business development goals related to their geographical territory and/or assigned accounts.
What You Will Do:
- Support, maintain and improve our existing customer relationships, and grow new customer relationships in our drinking water/groundwater and industrial market segments.
- Be a team player and assist other sales territories when needed.
- Maintain Zoho CRM data related to existing and new customer potentials, won/loss documentation, etc.
- Provide monthly sales and volume forecast to the best of your ability.
- Generate professional quotes with supporting documentation in line with the company’s products, goals and initiatives.
- Negotiate commercial terms that will facilitate a beneficial outcome for the business.
- Manage purchase orders to facilitate a clean hand-off to customer service for order entry and help communicate with customers during the order execution process.
- Work with our Service and Execution team to sell and follow up on Purofill™ resin installation services.
- Continuously follow up with customers to understand their current and future ion exchange needs. Detailed knowledge of selling ion exchange resins.
- Understand markets that use ion exchange and future trends. Familiarity with PFAS and other trace contaminant removal e.g. nitrate, perchlorate, chromate, uranium, etc.
- Meet or exceed goals as defined by the business.
- Provide technical assistance to customers including data interpretation from installed systems and pilot systems.
- Work closely with Applications Engineering and Research and Development teams on customer requests for testing and new product development.
- Present at trade shows and at customer sites for training on resin and services.
- Travel 50% expected. Travel based on customer needs. Includes customer site walks.
Position Details:
- Territory includes Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology or equivalent field
- 5 years of sales experience within a related industry
- Proven sales and negotiation skills; customer-focused and driven to achieve sales.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate key aspects of product lines and services
- Effective communication skills
- Valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience selling to the water treatment industry.
- Experience in Ion Exchange Sales, in drinking water/groundwater contaminant removal and industrial applications such as makeup demineralizers, softening, mining and high purity water.
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The total Compensation range for this position is $131,400-$197,000 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance, per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.Benefits
