Administrator - Engineering

About the role:
Reporting directly to the Administration Lead, we are seeking a highly organised Administrator to join our Engineering team at our Darra facility. The main purpose of this exciting role is to support the Engineering Team in progressing projects and day-to-day activities to provide an exceptional experience for all stakeholders. This is a fast-paced role which requires a high level of organisation, problem solving and multi-tasking all within tight timeframes. The successful person will have exceptional Excel skills and be comfortable managing a variety of functions, finding solutions to unexpected challenges that arise, yet remain totally committed to helping the Engineering team succeed.
Your responsibilities:
Assist the engineering team in managing projects and activities by:
- Raising orders, liaising with suppliers and special invoices as required
- Continually seek out and suggest process improvements
- Respond to incoming communications in a timely manner, while ensuring a high standard of customer care
- Assistance in financial reporting
By nature, you will preferably have:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel along with accurate data entry skills is critical
- SAP Experience is highly desirable
- Proven experience within an admin/clerical environment
- A high level of attention to detail with the drive to manage things through to completion
- Self-motivation with exceptional organisation and administrative skills, with the ability to work well independently and as part of a team
