Nalco Water, an Ecolab Company, seeks a District Manager to join our Light / Manufacturing business. You'll play a crucial role inspiring a team of talented individuals across the water sectors in the Manufacturing market to achieve their full potential.
You'll be responsible for driving performance, looking after relationships with key customers and fostering a culture of excellence. You will guide and develop a dedicated team of Sales and Technical representatives who provide water expertise and operational efficiency solutions to clients in the Netherlands.

What You Will Do:
- Ensure your team of sales professionals reaches sales targets and objectives.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to help them develop their skills and reach their career goals.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expand market share within your district.
- Manage and develop relationships with our client base across the region
- Ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of business excellence to customers
- Bringing Ecolab’s value-added services and innovation programs to assist our customers meet their business goals

Training programs are held in the field and at Nalco Water Oegstgeest in The Netherlands; travel is arranged and paid for by Nalco Water. Based on your skill level and experience, topics covered may include technology, product, service, business and industry acumen, direct coaching and mentoring, sales management and leadership, classroom training and certifications.
If applicable, relocation assistance would be provided for the right candidate.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (chemical, mechanical, industrial) or life sciences (biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Water treatment or specialty chemical industry experience
- Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
- Experience guiding and developing successful sales teams
- Experience or exposure to the water industry processing
- Ability to build, maintain and retain customer relationships across all levels
- A full and valid driver’s license
