Ecolab is currently seeking a District Manager to work in our Food and Beverage Division in Serbia. As a District Manager, you will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping customer success, driving growth, and developing high-performing teams. What You Will Do:
- Manage the sales of products and services through assigned sales reps and sales office activities.
- Elaborate the yearly sales plan
- Define the sales targets for all reports according to market opportunities
- Analyze (report) monthly results and initiate actions as required
- Execute quarterly planning review
- Carry out, monitoring of sales performance (sales calls/visits, reporting, service/selling ratio, gross margin)
- Carry out, monitoring of operating expenses monthly
- Provide operational support by co-ordinating interfaces to responsible organizational units (logistics, finance-accounting)
- Provide commercial and technical support to the team and customers
- Ensure implementation of program roll-outs (products launch, product mix, etc)
- Regular reporting (sales force and self, customer reports and internal reports: monthly sales report, quarterly provision of equipment)

- Leadership & People Management: Demonstrate strong coaching, team development, and performance management capabilities while fostering accountability and collaboration.
- Sales & Commercial Acumen: Skilled in strategic sales planning, opportunity mapping, customer negotiations, and value-based selling.
- Customer Focus: Build strong customer partnerships, ensure contract adherence, and drive retention strategies.
- Analytical & Financial Skills: Use data tools (Power BI, BI reports) to analyse performance, forecast growth, and manage pricing and margin structures.
- Technical & Food Safety Expertise: Understand Food & Beverage industry challenges, food safety requirements, and digital solution deployment.
What are the requirements?
- University degree in dairy, food, agricultural science, engineering, chemistry, biology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in the relevant field.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Demonstrated relationship management & consultative selling aptitude.
- Customer service skills with the ability to solve problems and devise customer solutions.
- Self-motivated with effective organizational/time management skills
- Ability to target accounts and achieve results through an action plan.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite.
- Flexibility for travelling more than 50% of the working time.
- Valid driver's license
