EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
A minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering.
Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in relevant industry and preferably previous experience in
mechanical design of water treatment plants.
Completed internship in computer aided design with between two (2) to five (5) years and/or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Familiar with International Standards E.g. ISO, DIN, ASME VIII, B31.1 , B31.3
Knowledge and familiarity within Water Treatment Systems and its used materials and components.
SKILLS
Technical Drawing Standards to BS8888:2020 and ISO 128
Positive and agile attitude and keen to work in a team environment.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex industry related documents.
Ability to understand English via written and verbal communication.
Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a range of intellectual and practical
problems.
Ability to make decisions requiring the use of a variety of variables in standard and non-standard
situations.
Use of 2D/3D AutoCAD Drawing systems (AutoCAD Plant 3D, Advance Steel) and Navisworks.
Knowledge and Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other MS Office programs.
Working to Pressure Vessel and Structural Steel Specifications.
The role is office based. Some national and international travel to supplier/client sites could be
requested within this role.
