Commercial Excellence Manager - Institutional EU

Ecolab is looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager, providing strategic direction and support to enhance sales operations and customer engagement. This role involves ensuring the accuracy of sales documentation and fostering effective communication between the sales team and other departments.
How you’ll make an impact
- Investigate shortfalls, issues, and complaints in current business processes. Develop and implement strategies to improve associated sales processes and customer interactions.
- Ensure all sales documentation is maintained accurately and comply with company standards.
- Work with sales teams to understand objectives, priorities, challenges, and process/system issues.
- Facilitate smooth communication and collaboration between the sales team and other departments.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive the implementation of new procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, managing process redesign activities where needed.
- Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement. Coordinate training and development programs for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Acts as a change agent to drive business improvement within the commercial organization, driving adoption of new processes, metrics and tools, interfacing with employees at various levels of the commercial organization.
- Lead projects with a high degree of autonomy, partnering with internal stakeholders at all levels across the EU region.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a related field is required; additional qualifications in management or leadership are a plus.
- Years of professional level experience in project management, sales, marketing, sales operations, and/or relevant business experience.
- Previous experience in a managerial role within a sales, sales operations or customer support environment.
- Proven successful experiences working with a continuous improvement approach and leading change management activities.
- Experience managing remote teams is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic skills, with a passion to challenge the status quo as well as open-mindedness and solution-orientation (creativity/flexibility/strategic thinking).
- Experience in prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously. Results-oriented, proactive, and possesses a high level of integrity.
- Excellent communication skills in English and at least one other EU language (additional languages are a plus).
- Excellent MS-Office skills and strong affinity to digital solutions.

- Willingness to travel occasionally and interact with sales teams across Europe
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on an international and virtual basis
- Customer and service orientation with a pragmatic working manner and a can-do attitude.
